The Power of 3 Rock! Keep Focused.

If you remember my 3 words for this year; Learn, Establish, and Connect.

It is really working. You really have to get started. It doesn’t matter where or when you started. Just Start. As they say, you cannot go anywhere if you haven’t started.

In 2014, I started Terrificmomva blog. I made my YouTube account and upload videos. I also started creating social media accounts; FB, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, etc. I even created FB groups and pages. I joined different communities and groups. There were a lot of things I have done to adapt myself to this changing world of technology.

In the last quarter of 2015, I decided to take my learnings seriously. I subscribed to paid seminars to become a Virtual Professional. I followed different successful virtual mentors like Michael Hyatt, Tina Forsyth, Susan Mershon and our very own Filipino guru Jomar Hilario. They made a big difference in my life, my great influencers.

This 2016, I passed the examination and been certified by Hubspot Academy in Inbound Marketing. This became the focus of my business. Now, I am not just a Virtual Professional but also an Affiliate Marketer. Would you believe that I am now managing my website at http://ligayamalay.com? This is my new home. My journey as TerrificmomVA is now what I call IntegratedMomVP.

I am so grateful to bring you the good news on how my Virtual Assistant Walk progressed.

You are very much welcome to visit my new website at http://ligayamalay.com

See you there!

How Can a Virtual Professional Transform Your Life & Business?

plate of an entrepreneurWhen was the last time you feel that you have too much to do but have too little time to do it? You just can’t get enough rest. Your plate just got full with Upcoming deadlines, marketing commitments, family responsibilities, and so on.

This is both good and bad for your life and business. It’s good because it means your business is growing. It’s bad because it will lead you to burnout and eventually your health may suffer. Basically, it’s another sign to make a twist.

It’s time to have a quick analysis.

As a busy entrepreneur, there are a lot of tasks piling up on your plate. Give yourself a break to analyze which of them generate revenue for your business. Focus on them. Then, be ready to delegate tasks.

Your next step is to look for the right person to take over on the tasks you decided to delegate. You have the option to hire an employee or get a service of a virtual professional.

What will be the difference?

Wanted Virtual Professional: Enthusiasm vs Experience

Your business is growing. Your clients demand are growing, too. You have reached your working capacity but you need to work on with all your behind the scene activities and serving your client at the same time to keep your business running and growing.

Overwhelmed? Keeping you up late at night? Can you imagine how does it feel to be restless?

You made up your mind. You need someone to help you with your task. You went to Upwork, Craiglist, Onlinejob sites to hire someone. Eventually, applicants were rushing to work with you. So, you’re now screening the candidates. How will you give justice to an applicant with no experience working with a client but have the hunger to serve and learn vs someone who has been in the industry for quite some time with not much excitement?

How will you weigh this 2 candidate?

Let’s say your candidate A, has no working experience yet but took the time to learn new skills in different ways. He even looked for a mentor to guide him and prepared himself as an entrepreneur.

Then, you have candidate B who already gained a lot of working experience but doesn’t have much excitement compared to candidate A.

How will you go in this situation? Would you take Tina Forsyth words,  “I would much rather have someone who is oozing enthusiasm on my team than someone who doesn’t have much enthusiasm but knows how to do stuff.”

Feel free to share what’s on your mind.

Use the Power of 3, Stay Focused!

Stay Focused, Use the Power of 3Early this morning, I checked my LinkedIn account. I saw a newly published update from Tina Forsyth. The title of her post was What Are Your 3 Words For The Year (Here are mine). I read her post and got inspired to have my own.

Here are the 3 words I made. Feel free to have yours. I find it amazing.

  1. Learn – I just started my virtual career. I feel like there are a lot to learn to establish my brand. It somewhat overwhelming but I was able to prepare myself beforehand that this journey is not easy but I know this is worth my time. Learning from different mentors is one of my first steps in building the foundation of my virtual business. I am looking forward in bringing out the best in me so I can be a great help to you.
  2. Establish – This is the great step I think would be suitable for my 2nd word. Once the learnings are flowing to me, I feel the need to establish a solid outline of what I can bring to your table. I can see helping you taking out each task from your plate so you can take another one. Huh! My mind is soaring high now! Woohoo! (I learn that from Tina)
  3. Connect – The business is purely virtual but this doesn’t change the fact that we are still dealing with people. This means that touching other lives and connecting with them in the best possible can be is indispensable. I love interacting with people. It feels great to share joy, sadness, pain and success because this wrap up one thing – We are still human living in a real world just crossing in a virtual road to bridge the gap.

It’s your turn. Let me hear yours. Stay focused in using the power of 3.
